Very Large Working Area

The key strength of the Yora 6550 is that it offers a working area of 65x50 cm (26x20”), making it the ideal CNC laser engraver for everything from home use to a home business.

If you want more space, add our expansion kit to the machine. It will allow you to convert your 6550 to a 65x100 cm (26x40") working area.

Aluminum Structure & Rigid Construction

Powerful Laser Diode

The YoraHome CNC Laser Engraving Machine 6550 comes with either a 3.5W, 5.5W, 15W or 40W Yora laser module. You can use each of these laser powers to engrave on paper, wood, textiles, leather or plastics. For the most versatility, the 15W or 40W laser are the ones to choose.

In addition to the laser glasses, all our lasers are now provided with a laser shied for additional eyes protection.

We also recommend our unique Z-axis upgrade to manually adjust your laser to go up and down.

New Redesigned Control Board

The Yora 6550 control board runs on Arduino which is a very popular open source platform.

It now includes:

User-Friendly Software

To operate the YoraHome CNC Laser Engraver, a computer with software that will communicate directly with the control board of the machine is required.

For Windows users, we recommend the LaserGrbl software which is free to use. Mac users must use the LightBurn application (also available to Windows and Linux users), which comes with a 30-day trial and is an inexpensive commercial option.

These easy-to-use software packages will allow you to import your artwork (PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, etc.), edit it, apply settings like laser power, speed, number of passes, brightness, contrast, and much more.

Variety of Materials To Laser Engrave

You can laser engrave on almost anything using the YoraHome CNC Laser Engraving Machine 6550: paper, wood, rubber, leather, slate, food, etc.

You can't engrave directly on metals and transparent materials. However, by using the 15W or 40W laser with a non-transparent coating like vinyl or black paint, our customers have successfully been able to engrave on glass, anodized aluminium and coated stainless steel.
